Everything in the park
CoasterLab is a roller coaster builder for kids that runs in any browser. Place track, press ride, and hold on. Here is what is inside.
The track box
Straights, hills, banked turns, dips and crests to start with. Then loops, corkscrews, zero-G rolls, helixes, tunnels, water loops, brake runs, boosters and full launch tracks as you ride further.
Two kinds of coaster
Start on a classic sit-down coaster. Ride far enough and the inverted, hanging-leg coaster unlocks — same builder, feet dangling, a completely different ride feel.
Ride it for real
Press Ride and the train runs on real physics: gravity, momentum, chain lifts, friction and brakes. Watch the speed climb and feel the airtime on the hills.
Three cameras
Seat camera for the front-row view, chase camera for the movie shot, and free camera to swing round the whole layout.
Walk the park
Step out of the train and wander your own park on foot. Guests walk the paths, queue at the station and cheer as the train dispatches.
Decorate the park
Plant trees, hedges, flower beds, benches, lamps and signs. Lamps and signs glow once the sun goes down.
Save and share
Every coaster saves to My Coasters. Share a ride by link so a grandparent, cousin or friend can ride exactly what your kid built.
Progression that rewards riding
New pieces unlock by total distance ridden, not by paying. See the whole ladder on the unlocks page.
And what is deliberately missing
- No ads and no ad tracking
- No chat and no way for strangers to contact your child
- No loot boxes, coins, gems or in-game purchases
- No download — it runs in the browser
More detail for grown-ups is on the for parents page, and the whole thing is $1 a month if you want the daily limit gone.
