1. Who you are contracting with

CoasterLab is provided by Cosmo Star Labs LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use CoasterLab you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

CoasterLab is a browser-based creative game in which users build roller coasters and ride them in a 3D simulation. A CoasterLab Membership removes the daily free play limit.

3. Accounts and age

Accounts must be created by an adult of legal age, ordinarily a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account and for any child profiles used under it. If you accept these terms for an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account and must give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use CoasterLab for anything unlawful;
• commit fraud, send spam, or abuse shared links;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including malware, probing, penetration attempts, automated scraping, or circumventing technical limits such as play-time enforcement or membership gating;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.

5. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use CoasterLab for personal, non-commercial use. We retain ownership of the service and all intellectual property in it, including the software, artwork, branding and documentation. You keep ownership of the coaster designs you create, and you grant us a limited licence to host, store and display them solely to operate the service — including showing a design to anyone you send a share link to.

6. Price, billing and subscription terms

The CoasterLab Membership is $1.00 USD per month, billed monthly in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period and then reverts to the free tier. Detailed payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our refund policy gives a 14-day money-back guarantee.

7. Merchant of record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Service availability

We work to keep CoasterLab running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. On termination, you can ask us for a copy of your saved coasters within 30 days, after which data may be deleted as described in the privacy notice.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Cosmo Star Labs LLC is registered, and the courts of that State have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If we change these terms we will update the date above and notify account holders of significant changes.
